Don Knotts, the lovable and frenetic character on the Andy Griffith Show, starred as the deputy of the Mayberry Police Dept. He is known for many things, such as carrying only one bullet and getting all worked up over nothing, but give us your reasons why he should be the nation's head cop and head the FBI.

Here's the rules.


1. Only one reason per post. Use of commas, semi-colons, dashes, ..., run-on sentences and just poor grammar but will be counted as one sentence.
2. This is satire, so you do not have to be logical.
3. This is satire, so really bounce your posts off the wall!
4. This is satire, so be wildly creative and inventive.
5. This is satire, but please stay within the rating (ASR)
6. You may post as many times as you wish.

Our goal is to create the top 100 reasons why...(yeah,right, but it might just be the top 2 or 3). This topic will run until for about a month (yeah, I know I lied about the deadline for Arnold, so take that as an indication of how this forum operates), so you got approximately four weeks to put your crazy, inane and insane, off-the-wall, and otherwise disgusting remarks on the wall.

1,000 gift points will be awarded to the top three persons for the most exceptional, interesting and funny posts.
