Wolves are generally never a threat to humans, there's never been a recorded case of a wolf attack in the US or Canada. Wolves (like sharks) are a major benefit to the ecology of an ecosystem they kill the sick animals and improve the grazing and garauntee health of those left unharmed. My family hunts, I haven't since I was a teenage but feel as long as its' done responsibly and with respect for nature then it shouldn't be disallowed. As for seal hunts. With the mass salughter of sharks across the globe the seal population is a danger to itself, fish and anyone who who depends on the sea to live. Culling the seal population prevents the seals from wiping out fishstock and turning the oceans into a huge cesspool. A necessary evil if fishermen are going to continue driving big sharks to the brink of extinction. I am totally against whale hunting, no need for it in this day in age unless the people involved have no other means of income or survival. |
