Hi folks,

This is by way of an exploratory message to see how everyone feels about an idea I have buzzing like a bee in this thing I call a mind.

In 2002 I was very fortunate to be able to attend the very first convention in the USA, this was both a rewarding and rich expierence, sharing and being with friends.

Since that time, for many reasons not least financial, I have not been able to attend subsequent venues.

My intention in posting this message is to see the feelings of the rest of the group, (and possibly wider) to the idea of us coming together for a weekend of fun and enjoyment. As to possible venues ,I was thinking along the lines of say Stratford -on -Avon. Stratford is both an exciting place for the spirit of creative writing and its fairly central for all in the UK.

I would,of course, be happy to help in the planning of such an event

Let me know through this excellent forum (well done Andrea) how you feel about the idea ,and who knows perhaps we might be able to put faces to those we type with soon.
