Today I reviewed a piece (actually 4 poems he put under one static item - think he was confused).

He's a sophomore in High School, but his short poems, especially the first two were marvelous - I so was along with him in the Big City. So I reviwed each one under a different heading and gave him a mark for each, then told him to put each in their own static place in his port. Well, he gave me such great feedback on the review, i won't mention he comments - but it sure helped my ego. It's nice to have someone truly thrilled. I know that feeling will be with him for days. If you have time, check out his short pieces. At that age, I was having braces wired in and wore glasses and looked down upon because I was editor of the newspaper, and was a top English student. This young man is far along on his path to becoming published someday. Terrific, quirky, vivid, his seam of language is whimisical, concrete,...I'm just in awe of a kid so young , blithly, chipperly making melodies out of words.
