Hi Lena – “Pieces of Me,” dogged eared, rest to my side. When I am down, I am always able to find a springboard within your book that bounces me back. With your ability to visualize, I am sure you can picture me book in hand thumbing pages seeking my cure. A writer never knows where the next seed of inspiration will come from or what mood he/she will be in when it arrives. Your poems give me an advantage over inspiration. If my mind is tuned to an obstacle or absent love poem, “You’re In My Thoughts In The Night” is a great mind cleanser and mood setter for me. If I want to add, the complaint to a piece “Torture” is the perfect place to start. It seems that you have given me much more than a poetry book to enjoy. Your “Fan Wall” is a great idea and I am honored to add a brick. I have just noticed something interesting. My peers refer to me as a dark poet and I see the names of two other dark poets on your wall. Perhaps my “Pieces of Me,” refuge is being occupied by other like-minded poets seeking their refuge and inspiration. Write on Lena, we need you – I need you.
