For two years before joining WDC, I was known on the net as Rae. Rae Rae to those closest to me. That comes from being coined a proverbial ray of sunshine from an early age and my own beloved mother's middle name. When i joined the ranks of WDC, I wanted something a little darker and more feminine, hence the name Adriana (Aid-rae-ana) Which means dark beauty.

Noir comes from a combination of two things. It is a well known style and it's French for black. I figured it went well with Adriana and the meaning behind the names is well suited for someone who loves to write fiction with a darker vein. Besides, this saves my family from any public humiliation, should any of my stories ever become published. Protecting the innocent so to speak!
