My very first published picture book is "Angeline Jellybean," the story of a little girl who wants to eat nothing but jellybeans. When she gets her wish, it turns out more than she had bargained for!

I decided to go through a small press because I wanted the support of a publisher but, after several unsuccessful attempts, did not get published with a bigger publishing house. I am still sending my work out to larger publishers in hopes that I make it big someday, but publishing with a small press has helped me get a foot in the door and has acted as a great introduction to the publishing world. I recommend small presses over self-publishing because you will get some sort of support (quite a bit from 4RV!) and reputable ones will never charge fees for publishing your work.
