I wonder... there are other issues in Alaska such as succession (Hawai'i grapples with this too). I doubt we have heard the last from her. She may have borrowed other people's issues, but she gave those issues a platform and a face. Not bad coming from a state that has fewer people than Montana or San José and is closer to Russia and Canada than it is to any other state in the union. That said... the policies she gave voice to (give everyone a gun and they too can shoot a moose) and the attitude of exclusion and division ("he's not one of us") will not be missed by me. |
