Thanks to both of you for your suggestions! I'll do my best to follow up on your ideas. I'm slowly getting in the habit of carrying a notebook around (I need a bigger purse!) but then I find myself so engrossed in what's going on, I forget to write it down! I'll be trying harder though.Besides R's idea of writing down observations and what comes to me (which sometimes I do at work, thankfully my job requires a notebook while I'm on patrol) does anyone else do regular writing exercises during a period that they're also working on a project? I guess to be more specific I should ask: How many different types of writing should one be doing during the course of the day? Stay focused on a single project, or work on the project and doing a daily exercise, journal entries, other projects or what? What do the rest of you do? I'm struggling against perfectionism and apparently, an inability to stay focused on one thing for very long (unless it's reading/listening to a book). By the way, a great big THANK YOU to the anonymous gift giver! My poor little laptop no longer has to struggle with the advertising thanks to your generous donation!
