LOL, I do the same thing. I make rules for myself. I am not allowed a coffee until such and such is done or I can only watch my fav programme if I have completed X chores. It works for me (mostly  ).For those of us who find the web a distraction you could try physically disconnecting the internet until a certain target is reached. Yes, you could get up and plug your modem back in but that would involve deliberately sabotaging your goals.
