Our family has two pets: an eleven year old black Beagle, Bailey and a four (or five, we're not sure) old kitten named Snowball. Our daughter found Snowball wandering the neighborhood over the summer and we finally broke down and adopted her.
It's been an adventure in injuries and insomnia. Snowball has lived on the street most of her young life and is afraid of hands (as you can tell from the scratches and bite marks) and doesn't realize yet that nighttime is for SLEEPING! But I'm not willing to give up on her yet.
