I think it'd be nice if you could put a changing word count in the body of a static item. As it is you can save the item and click "word count" but it'd be nice for those of us to see 'real time' what our word count is for a document, so we can add it to our title. This would not only be useful for Nano, but other contests and activities that require you to keep a word count. (Like in blogs, poetry contests, short stories and book items..) Just a thought.
