Deep Question for Today: Hobby or Future?
Good morning! I have been looking over the recent posts here, and see that many of them are requests for someone to read a posted work. I posted something to my portfolio that you can read if you like; or not--trust me, I understand.

Okay, getting to the point of my post--I have a deep question for everyone, because it's been playing on my mind for awhile now. How do you make the trasition from writing being your "hobby" to writing being your future? I mean this as in the mental aspect (actually calling yourself a writer professionally) and financially (how do you decide when to quit your day job--especially when you have a family who depend on you to pay the bills.)?
