So I'm on time, but now I've broken a more cardinal sin. This time I'm 700 words over the limit. Thing is, the story grew organically and there is not really much I want to cut. I'll probably have a go at a hatchet job tomorrow (it's midnight here and bed beckons me), if I still have time. Again, I'll understand if my transgressions exempt me, i'm just hoping you'll read it anyway and maybe count it as an entry in the sense that I've entered 2 weeks in a row.
To be honest I'm not sure the story even fully fulfills the prompt. P.S. I promise next week's story will have a happy ending*. |
