Not sure from the description exactly what the problem is, but here are a couple of things you could try -- In the Options tab of your Account page, under Site Display Options check the setting for Content Width: Determines the width of the main content column (center column) of Writing.Com. Can be a fixed width, or fluid to the edge of your browser. If the font looks larger, you may have changed the browser's zoom setting. Some browsers do better with zoom than others. For Chrome, those menu controls are under the wrench icon ( tools ) near the end of main address bar. MSIE and Firefox have a magnifying glass icon(s) at the bottom right border of the browser window. Also, sometimes the left hand column will get stretched by some item or link with a long string of characters in the info with no spaces, and that covers up the left side of the center column until that item/link gets rotated off the column again, which can take a few minutes with some things. In which case, reporting that item/link here can help staff find it and get it out of the rotation list so it doesn't happen again. Hope that helps. ![]() |
