Noticing Newbies
A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |

Hi Mariah - Thanks so much for your very clear and helpful words. I've actually had the same doubts about a formal writing course but, being totally ignorant of the entire culture of writing for public consumption I thought it might be a good way to get my feet on the ground (before, as you said, probably throwing it all out and going my own way, albeit from a known starting point.) My immediate problem is deciding upon which of my thousands of experiential topics to write about. I've begun a list of all possible topics and am contemplating placing them all on a large dartboard entitled "This One Next." Regards, and God bless - Don |
