Once you begin posting in your portfolio, Cari, some of your reviewers might include links to entries in their portfolio. This is not considered spamming, but quid pro quo. In other words, it is polite to give a review back for a review given or perhaps some other type of remuneration.

When I review what someone else wrote, I usually provide a link to a work of mine. With most of my reviews, I also will send gift points commensurate with what I consider the quality of the reviewed item. Whenever I post on WdC forums like this one, I often add a link to my Facebook Author's page where my Kindle e-books are listed.

On the other hand, with most of my portfolio stories, I prefer to simply give gift points for reviews mainly through Auto-Reward system.

How you handle reviews is, of course, your choice. I hope to see entries in your portfolio soon. Good luck with your writing, but remember to relax and have fun here, too.
