         In an age of Fantasy writing where Muses ran lost through the darkness, SFWG rose to help bring light to our lost inspirations and guide them into the real life world of all of our hearts. Now as our dragons and fairies continue to flourish and grow under the light of the Phoenix Aerie, may we never forget the binds of friendship, trust and support that have brought all of us together for many years to come.
 
It is with great sadness that I close SFWG, as many issues have arisen in real life that have made it difficult for me to lead a group of such size with the required time that it takes and deserves. I put my full support behind Phoenix Aerie with all my prayers that it will flourish to become even greater than Scribbler’s Fantasy Writer’s Group and bring even more Muses out of the darkness, completing the dreams of those who will one day see their writings published. I thank all of SFWG’s Elders, reviewers and supporters as without your help SFWG would have never become what it was and so many new friendships and memories would have never been made.
 
For now, me and Scribbler must return to our own world bound in darkness in hopes of freeing the dreams that once flew us through the pages of Fantasy and Science Fiction with young and joyous wings. With us we carry all of you within our hearts and prayers. May your wings and dreams never grow old and never stop pursuing our common love, our love of writing.
