Sometimes being a Christian writer is hard. Although the market for Christian fiction has become larger, we still get flack from secular authors or sometimes from other Christians who don't believe that writing is an appropiate ministry. I believe that writing is a God-given talent, however, and if we don't use our talent it's like throwing God's gift back in His face.

This group is for all Christian writers of all genres. If you write poetry, you're welcome here. If you write fiction, or essays, you're welcome here. If you actually haven't written anything yet but plan to, you're welcome here. Your writing doesn't have to be spiritual, it could be an essay on photosynthetic bacteria ! We don't care what denomination you are. Everyone who claims Jesus Christ as Savior and isn't ashamed to be a "city on a hill" for Writing.com is welcomed here.
