The group was formed to encourage members of Writing.Com to remain active through the giving of upgrades. Since RAOK is funded solely through the generosity of Writing.Com members, we feel the upgrades should be granted by members who are familiar with the community and understand the RAOK goal of spending these funds responsibly to upgrade active members.

To meet this goal, new RAOK members must:

Bullet be a member for at least 3 months;
Bullet have given at least 30 reviews;
Bullet have posted at least 8 items in their own portfolio.
