        It has been a nice experience, nothing special
        I really enjoy it & feel genuinely proud to do it
        It's one of the most rewarding volunteer programs on W.Com

3.   Share your thoughts about how best to campaign for NEW SPONSORS.

     

4.   There is no longer a financial obligation connected with sponsoring. We hope this opens the door for lots of friends to get involved. Might you be willing to try to recruit one pal to try out sponsoring next September ?

9.   Do you think we provide clear critera for the selection of Rising Stars ? Are we consistent in chosing strong candidates ? (R)

        We ought to ratchet up our criterea/expectations for selecting "Stars"
        We provide adequate critera/need greater oversight of selection
        I like that Sponsor's have flexibility--not sure I'm consistent in my choices
        We do it well, make our position clear & select a nice variety of "Stars"

10.   As of June 1, we'll ask you to rate a new candidate's writing and potential from 1-10 and describe how your writer fits our criterea. You ok with this ?

11.   Does your relationship with your new "Star" start off well ? Does he/she send a c-Note card to thank you, do you receive cards and much deserved thanks within 24 hours of notification ? (R)

        It's rare that I receive a card, or a thank you
        It's rare that I receive a card, but I do get enthusiastic thanks
        I receive c-Note thanks fairly often in a timely manner
        I'm impressed with the cards & overall response I receive
        I love the enthusiasm I see, c-Note cards aren't that important

12.   Do you contact your new "Star" right away to introduce yourself or do you wait for your new "Star" to contact you ? (R)

        I wait till my new "Star" contacts me
        I email my new "Star" to introduce myself ASAP
        I generally don't expect to have much contact with my "Star"

13.   Share what kind of relationship you enjoy or would like to adopt with your "Stars."

     

14.   Rate the responsiveness of your "Stars" relative to your own investment in these relationships ? (R)

        I do the minimum, as does the "Star" --it works for me
        The "Star" is better at staying in touch and is always grateful
        I've had uneven experiences--I give a lot, I don't always get much response
        "Stars" need more help up front to become responsive & very appreciative

        Yes
