The task is simple: write a story in poetic form about a winter holiday! This is in the tradition of The Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore.

Your story must be:
Written in rhyming, poetic form. It does not need to follow a particular rhyme scheme, but there must be a clear rhyming pattern to the poem.
About an existing winter holiday. No fictional holidays please.
Rated 13+ or below: Any story that falls above this rating will be disqualified.
40 lines or less: Line count must be provided at the bottom of the item or your entry will be disqualified.
Newly written for this contest: Create your poem as a Static Item and keep it in your portfolio. Send us the item ID number in {bitem:xxxxxx} format of the item you wish to submit using this survey form below.
Submitted One Time Only: You may only submit one entry to this contest, so make it a good one!
Edited Only Until the Deadline: Entries edited after the submission deadline will be disqualified from winning.
