      They are the best way to review a chapter. They are just a way for reviewers to get their character count up. Used in moderation, I find them very useful, but don't copy and paste the whole chapter. What are in-line edits?

8.   Do you use edit points in your novel/book chapters? (R)

      Yes, sometimes. Yes, they're awesome. Not usually. No, they're annoying. I would, but I don't know how.

9.   How often do you review novel chapters? (R)

      Never Only when someone I know askes me to. Now and then - If I stumble upon something I like. Often - I look for novels to review. Exclusively - I rarely review anything else.

10.   Please give me any reasons you DON'T review novels. (R)

     

11.   What amount should an author offer as a gift point reward for a chapter. (R)

        No one should have to pay for reviews.
        10-100 gp's per chapter
        100-1000 gp's per chapter
        1000-5000 gp's per chapter
        You can't pay me enough to review a novel chapter.

12.   Should an author offer a gift point reward if you review the entire novel? (R)

        Yes, that's a lot of work.
        Yes, as well as a small reward for each chapter.
        Yes, but the amount should be dependant upon the usefulness of the reviews.
        It's up the the author.
