In order to apply, you'll need to submit an item to be featured in the workshop, which will take specific examples from participants' submitted items and discuss them in the workshop, giving participants both the chance to learn about the rewriting process, as well as take away suggestions and critiques specifically for their story.


ITEM REQUIREMENTS:

         *Bullet* Less than 2,000 words.

         *Bullet* A complete, contained short story (sorry, no chapters, poetry, or nonfiction).


All submitted items will be reviewed and the six participants will be selected by SoCalScribe . An additional six spaces in the workshop will be available for "auditing" (i.e. participants will receive the notes and are welcome to participate in the discussion, but will not have an item featured). All decisions as to the participants are final.

The deadline to submit this application is Friday, June 10th, 2011 @ 11:59pm WdC time.
