The "CSFS Easter Raid"
After much deliberation and self-torment I have decided on the top 5 reviews of the raid from the 52 reviews entered. For me a quality review is one that both looks at the piece's issues as well as its positives. A quality review must help the author become a better writer as well as help the author improve the piece in question. The reviewer must not patronise the author, whilst maintaining a tone that comforts the writer and to allow the reader to know that the reviewer knows whet they're talking about. A quality review should give both an opinion on the piece and comments that are matter of fact. The reviews in the survey below are all fighting for the coveted title, 'Review of the Raid'. Oh, and I guess the prize of a Long, Hot Shower from SAJ, 5 group points and a cocktail from "Invalid Item" But, of course, I jest. You can always tell when a reviewer is simply after a prize because the review is unsubstantial and not very helpful. All of the following reviews are quality and have been done with genuine care for the piece in question. The vote will end on Saturday 25th February at 11:59pm (WDC Time). This vote is for everyone on WDC. You may vote for yourself if you genuinely think it is the best review on the list. |
