The last month and a half saw entrants write short stories on one of the following prompts:

1. A mystical gem that has unusual powers

2. Write a story that includes the line 'It was all going so well' (tense may be changed)

3. A hapless wizard as either the protagonist or antagonist

4. Write a story that includes anthropomorphism



We had 3 entries, all of very good quality. In true CSFS fashion, it is not just up to me what goes on, but down to all of you - CSFS and WDC members.

Please read all the entries and decide which one you think deserves the first place prize of a 25K awardicon, a merit badge and 5 group points. The co-author(s) of the winning piece will also win a merit badge and 3 group points.



If you are a member of the CSFS you can win a group point just by voting, and if you send a quality review to the item you vote for you'll get another group point. If you are non-CSFS please can you, too, send a review to the piece you vote for? Everyone gets 200GPs just for voting!
