*Gift1* Forgive my "political incorrectness" for stating so blatantly that I *Heart* Christmas!

*Gift2* But, I do. I grew up celebrating it and while it's more appropriate to say "Season's Greetings" in order not to offend anyone, I still like to say "Merry Christmas" sometimes.

*Gift3* I know too, there are a lot of people who aren't big Christmas fans, and that's fine by me. They are as free to be disdainful of the holiday as I am celebratory.

*Gift4* While I opened this in/out as a place to share our positive Christmas memories, feel free to share the good memories of your special celebration, Christmas or not. *Delight*

Please note, the newest addition to our list of memories is at the TOP

I Remember: After previously discussing how some kids may not even get a single present, my son (5yo) said after opening up something he'd really wanted: Dad, if I got so excited, imagine how excited someone who got nothing would be. Can we give it to them?

I Remember: On a Christmas Eve we had a horrible ice storm, but I was too little to realize its capablities. As I restlessly waited for Santa, a limb broke and hit the roof creating the thud of Santa's sleigh touching down or so I reported the next morning.

I Remember: One would absolutely have to be when I saw the Christmas Carol performed at the Fabulous Fox Theatre with my husband. When we went in it was a bitterly cold night, when we went out it was snowing. Fun how the cold doesn't matter then.

I Remember: One year I had a hard time getting set up. My son kept getting up and I was racing around on tiptoe. His dad was on watch to steer him away. We got to bed about 12:30. At 12:35 my son raced in saying "Santa's been here! Get up everybody!"

I Remember: My DH and I bought our house and took possession 16 days later on Dec 15. We got a real tree that day and put it up. It was the most Charlie Brown tree I've ever seen, but it was our first!

I Remember: Christmas morning when my son was one-year-old. He ran to the living room, saw the teddy bear the same size as him and bodyslammed it with the biggest grin on his face! It was priceless.
