The Word Ladder.

*Bullet*The aim of this game is to ADD a letter to the previous word until it is NINE ( 9 ) letters long. Once it reaches that length you start SUBTRACTING until it reaches THREE ( 3 ) then you start building it up again.

*Bullet*The idea is to get your creativity going though you can look things up, a good site is http://www.morewords.com

*Bullet* Words must be real ones! if you use an obscure one post a link so I can verify it, no link no word!

*Bullet*If the ladder is going up: The new word must use ALL the letters in the previous entryand ADD ONLY ONE LETTER.

*Bullet* If the ladder is going down: The new word must use all the letters of the previous word MINUS ONLY ONE LETTER.

*Bullet*It will not be the LAST WORD but the one before it that is considered the winner! The aim is not to break the chain!

*Bullet*GP's allowing I will award the 'winner' with a token amount, selected at random, via the virtual dice. ( This round it'll be between 1 and 250gps, as it has not reached a landmark, I'll link the rolls to this item if you want to look at them! )

*Bullet*When a chain is broken any player can start the next one, MAKING SURE IT IS EITHER A THREE OR NINE LETTER WORD ONLY!

*Bullet* As you can see, you can rearrange the letters as long as you either add or subtract ONLY ONE letter, depending on whether you are going up or down, you cannot change two letters ; for example you couldn't have Seal as the second word in the list as this DROPS an E and adds an A and a L. It needs to be an anagram of the previous word. You can use the words in the example, not those that have been posted.

*Bullet* If the word in the list is incorrect, please play off the last correct one, I'll try and remove them quickly but I have other commitments.
