When Darkin was younger, she loved telling stories, all kinds of stories. She used to entertain her mother with tales of space men, monsters, and the occasional crazed animal wrecking havoc on their quiet neighborhood.
         As she grew older, she realized that telling tall tales could get her into trouble, so she started writing them down. Suddenly they went from being tall tales to actual fiction stories. Her freedom, and backside, was saved!!
         As she grew older, writing stories became a way to deal with the difficulties of the world around her. If she had problems with someone, she wrote a story about it. If her sister broke her special dolly - AGAIN - she wrote a story about it.
         So the next time you are reading one of her stories, and say to yourself, "What in the world was going through THAT squirrel's mind?", you really should be seeking professional help because talking to yourself isn't quite right
         Just remember, she might have just been having a bad day when she wrote that particular piece
