This is an auction like you've never seen before. The prize: 10,000 GPs, or more, if people donate to the cause. I know you're thinking "This is crazy", but it's not. There's a catch. The winning bidder pays the amount he or she bids, and receives 10,000 GPs in return. The second-place bidder, however, also pays the amount he or she bid, without receiving anything.
