Be it whether you are into historical romance, modern romance, happy or sad romance, or if you are into the sexy and steamy erotic romance, as long as it is romance you are accepted! The purpose of All For Love is to share ideas, thoughts, and knowledge to those who are still learning, in a rut, or just want to be with like-minded people! There will be many things going on and you don't have to participate in everything, just the things that you think will help you or help others. The only thing that is requested of you, is to participate in monthly weekend review raids and you only need to review once! All For Love is for those who need encouragement when they don't think their work is good enough, those who need that creative spark for when their mind has run out of matches, and for those who want to share and have fun! All For Love is also for those who love to read romance and would love to help those who need help with their writing and/or would just like to read fellow writers' work and give them feedback. If this is something that interests you, please contact me and I will add you!  Rules  Although erotica is accepted, it must be in good taste. We want romance not just sex. You must act in the once-a-month weekend review raid, even if all you do is R&R one item. If real life gets in the way (which it often does!) and you are unable to review any of the 4 days, please email me to let me know! There will be no cruel, discouraging, or hurtful remarks to any member or to any site member that you review. This group is to help others and ourselves, so try and make this place a great place for everyone! You will be under review for 2 weeks, to make sure you are putting in what you are taking out of the group. This is to make sure that you are a dedicated romance writer or reader. Have fun! What's Offered? There will be many things going on, including a campfire that you can accept into at any time, that's just a way for you to write and keep your creative juices flowing. If it ever dies off, we can always start a new one with a different direction. There will be a forum for the members to chat and discuss things, whatever you'd like! There will be a prompt in-and-out to help spark ideas and a piece submission in-and-out if you are looking for someone to review your work. Also, members can refer links to be placed on the main body of the group page which can include prompts, character building, plot building, etc; any kind of help would be great! Group members will also be able to have their stories critiqued. If any member at any time would like a story to be critiqued, please email the item number to me and I will post it. It will remain on the list for 2 weeks. If you find that you haven't gotten the amount of help you would've wanted, let me know and I'll keep it up for another 2 weeks. We will also run contests to raise GPs to help pay for merit badges, awardicons, and even upgrades to needy members! Note: Please don't beg for upgrades. Upgrades will be given to those who don't have one and/or those who have one and are in danger of losing it, but have shown great involvement with the group. Just because you are a free member doesn't necessarily mean you deserve one. Members will receive merit badges as our way to say thank you to those who have helped others within the group. Reviewing & Points Reviewing is a way for this group to give back to the community as well as a chance for us to get inspired and to inspire others. As a way to pay back the members of this group, any member who gives a good and in depth review will receive 10 points. For any romance based material that is reviewed, a member will receive 15 points. This point system has its benefits. At the end of every month, your points will be exchanged into GPs. 10 points = 10 GPs. It definitely adds up the more reviews you do! You can also use the points in the 50/50 raffle as a way to earn more GPs! As the group grows, there will be other ways to use GPs and any suggestions as how to implement any new things would be wonderful! All reviews plus a link to the item reviewed must be copied and pasted into the Reviews = Cash forum. There will be no questions or conversation allowed in this forum (because your post will be deleted!), just your review. All reviews deserve their own post. For example, if you do 10 reviews, there will be 10 different posts. For any review to count towards points, they must be entered into the forum. Also as the group grows, members have the chance to be "promoted" to help handle the review loads. GPs will be given on the first of every month. Weekend Review Raids All weekend review raids will be held on the last weekend of every month! Now, the weekend review raids work just as the regular reviewing goes, only it's all members at the same time plus the points are doubled! For a regular in depth review is 20 points and for any review given to a romance piece will receive 30 points. Just as with regular reviews, all reviews are expected in order for points to be given as well to show that you participated. They will start at 12:00 am EST on the first day and 11:59 pm EST on the last day. Any reviews posted in the forum after that time will not be received as a Weekend Review Raid and will receive regular points for the review. Group Calendar Do you have a contest, an auction, or any other thing you'd like the group to know of? Or maybe there is a romance contest, whether short story or poem that you are participating in or a friend of yours or you just happened to see and would like to post the due date to. As a member of All For Love, you can post on the group calendar. If the ending is in a different month other than the current month, then make a post in the group forum and let everyone know! Family Helping Family Events What is a Family Helping Family event, you might ask. It's a month long event that is randomly planned to help a group of people (like newbies) or a specific group (like RAOK or the Angel Army). It's a way for us to give back to the site which has helped each of us one way or another. For helping a group of people, such as the newbies, we will review them all month long. Giving them good reviews which will help them. We will also run contests, such as poetry or short story contests, so they can win prizes. We will also, if warranted, raise GPs to gift a 3-month Upgrade to a member. For helping a specific group, we will set up a bunch of fund raisers to help raise GPs for their cause. As we all know, Writing.Com is more than site filled with people who log in from all over the world. Writing.Com is a home filled with family members of all sorts who lend hands, shoulders, ears, knowledge, GPs, and laughter all without wanting anything in return. Many call them angels, but most are just known as family. We want to help expand on that, so that everyone feels they are noticed. For members, as a way of thanking them for helping others. All review points will be tripled and for every member that participates will receive a merit badge. Random  If anyone would like to create sigs for the group, please go ahead!
