The Quill Awards  [ASR] Nominations closed! Keep an eye out for genre voting and the upcoming ceremony! by Andrew C. Bowman

Perhaps your stories move the soul, or your contests spur the muse. Perhaps it was a heartfelt poem that distinguished you, or a collection of poems. Perhaps your images stun the eye. Whatever the reason, you should be proud of your work. Your work has collectively made us laugh, cry, and be inspired. A nomination for a Quill means you excel in your area, that you are a master of your craft, that you are among the best at what you do. You are a role model for the Writing Dot Com community, and we honor you for your achievements.

The Awards Ceremony for the 2009 Quills will be held on 14 March 2010 starting shortly after 6:00 pm, at an In and Out to be made once the date draws nearer. Nominations are currently open and will not close until Sunday 17 January 2010, and finalists will be announced 15 February 2010. Please nominate if you can, and tell all your friends to come and nominate as well!

Group affiliated reviews are open, so feel free to review through this affiliation. This way, if you review someone that you think should be nominated for a Quill, you can just review and I'll see it and you won't have to go through the process of posting in the main forum.

The calendar is also on and will be updated with events such as nomination period info, finalist announcements, and ceremony dates. Feel free to add other things such as your birthdays, raffle/contest info, holidays, etc. This group can be as much a community as you wish to make of it!
