This site is all about "Tortured Light," Poem and Title for my Second Book.
Tortured Light
This light wavers, bends
emanates from fading spectrums
inside grieving, lifeless winds.
It spoke once, a voice of dance and songs,
brightness left to diminishing wince
now where silence belongs.
It felt once, a passion ocean deep,
left to embers burning, whirling
into cries that cannot weep.
It saw once, the rays of subtle
paradise, now blinded by the
ebony folds that hold it in its vice.
It knew its brilliance once,
captured rainbows for a while,
this tortured light God wanted back
so Heaven could see its smile.~ ~

Many people have asked me regarding my first book, "Dreaming White Horses." Dreaming White Horses was published when I was 22 years old by Carlton Press out of New York City. The book is out of print for the time being. After so many years, yes, books do go out of print and they are difficult to purchase. I plan someday in getting it back in print because it is a book that encapsulates the 70's era and has the feelings and emotions of that tumultuous time tied up in words. It's like a time capsule of the 70's and will be especially interesting and delightfully enjoyed by those that grew up in that time frame as I did. That's why you don't see a separate folder for my first book. Thanks for the inquiries.
Until we meet again:
