This project was designed to help Newbies to first learn WDC navigation and basic reviewing skills, then those moving on to the Advanced class, to succeed in their writing aspirations. All of the leaders here are friendly, encouraging and helpful.

This is a three-part project.

The PDG Beginner WDC Navigation/Basic Reviewing Class

Open enrollment-work at your own pace. No start dates, and the class is always open.

The main focus of this first class is to teach the newbies WDC navigation, Writing ML, using images, Bitem and more. Students will complete sixteen lessons incorporating these skills. Students will also e-Mail one review per week to Bonnie Stick♡RIP , and those showing improvement may be invited to attend our four week Rockin' Review Academy.

Students may post questions in their student lounge, or just hang out and chat with classmates and PDG Alumni.



The PDG Advanced Poetry/Short Story Writing Class (seven weeks)-Next Class begins in mid to late March.
Selection for this class is determined by the Advanced Team Staff.

There is a one-time fee of 10,000 GPs, which will be returned upon successful completion of the class.

Advanced Class 2012-2013 Start Dates:

  2012-March, May, September, November, January 2013.
We will be closed for most of July & August and part of December & January.

  Students who complete all lessons and reviews in the beginner class, on time, and demonstrate a willingness to take on new things, may be invited to take part in the advanced project, where the main focus will be on poetry and short story writing, along with advanced reviewing. The advanced class will be asked to write out of their comfort zone:  poets will write short stories, and vice versa. You may be asked to write in specific genres, and/or use given prompts, paying careful attention to each lesson. Students will also be required to complete two reviews per week and may be eligible to earn and/or win prizes from both our gift station and our main review group.

To go directly to the advanced project, applicants must demonstrate good WDC and reviewing skills.

Graduates will automatically become PDG Alumni. After three months of giving back to the project by:  mentoring newbies, helping run forums, fund raising, reviewing in our Rockin' Gift Station, or a variety of other things, you may apply to be a leader within the group.


Both the Beginner & Advanced Classes require time and effort, so only those willing to work hard on improving themselves should apply. Learning to take constructive criticism and applying what you have learned is a must!  The Advanced Class will require a minimum of 5-7 hours of study per week to complete all lessons.

What is a paper doll? A string of one-dimensional paper human-like figures.

Why then is this group called the Paper Dolls?  I have never asked, but have come to my own conclusion about that. Paper Dolls are created by an artist who must pay attention to details in order to make sure that each doll is connected securely to the rest of the chain.  Once created, the line is unique, linked forever, all alike in at least one aspect, the scissors that helped them take shape.

We are the Paper Dolls. Each of us was shaped by the leaders of our group and so we are similar, but as we color ourselves in, with our writing and our experiences, we will also be unique within the shape we have each been given.
