The Writer's Academy

Welcome

An extra special thank you to Riot for the lovely plaque that adorns the Writer's Academy.

The Writer’s Academy was established in October of 2008. The first term started January 5, 2009. Dean Harley had a dream to teach students different aspects of writing; to give them a chance to branch out and try something different. She believes that learning should be fun and that is what The Writer’s Academy does – makes learning fun! Helping others learn and grow in their writing are some of the most important things to Dean Harley. She wants to see everyone succeed and follow their dreams.

So join us and help Dean Harley to follow her dreams to help others learn and grow in their writing.

The next term begins May 3, 2010 You can fill out the enrollment form at any time. You will recieve notice of acceptance a week before the term begins.

Congratulate our Graduates at the Graduation Hall!!!

Enrollment

To learn more about the school itself, the classes, and the sports teams, please read the Student Handbook. The Student Handbook explains the rules and regulations in detail. Please read it thoroughly before you apply. It is very important to us that you have a full understanding of how the academy works. The sports teams are explained in depth along with how you will graduate.

The Student Handbook also contains all the forms you will need to fill out in order to enroll and become part of a sports team. Once you are enrolled you will be able to access the Halls and Library.

There is an enrollment fee of 15 GP’s. You will not be fully enrolled until that is paid. Send GPs to group # 1498621 -- The Writer's Academy Bank. Instructions for payment are also in the Handbook.

Tuition is based on what degree program you enroll in. Please read that part carefully so that you know exactly how much your cost will be. We have worked to make the tuitions reasonable. There is also Financial Aid information in the Student Handbook for you to look over if you need help with paying your tuition. Tuition payments are due before any of your classes begin.

If you have any further questions after you have read the Student Handbook, please send an email to Dean Harley D. Palmer. They will be glad to answer any questions you have.

phischmo was a wonderful student! He was very dedicated to all his lessons and the Football Team. Sadly he had to leave us and WDC all together, but left this message: "I would like to donate the remainder of my GPs to the Academy in the name of my instructor Harley Palmer. If it can be used in anyway to enrich the lives of the students use it therefore and thank you everyone for your imput into my life and the strength it has given me to move on, God bless you all and, as always, LOVE, PhiSchmo"
