I wrote this whilst visiting County Kerry in Southern Ireland(Eire). I was sitting on a mountain in the wonderful 'Ring of Kerry'. I can remember meeting an Irish singing group playing America called 'Fire In The Kitchen' and it had been many years since one of the band had been home and that inspired this song's lyrics. The tune just came into my head whilst I was sitting in that amazing place, Kerry.
