All of us here at WDC are writers. Some of us write poetry while others of us write dark and frightening novels. No matter the form or the material contained within our masterpieces, each of us gets something out of putting words on paper, or screen since the advent of the Internet. I want to know exactly how writing has helped you to grow as a person. Please feel free to share all the different ways your particular style and/or method has served to enlighten your life!

"Writing is a gift from the Lord brought initially to me through my mother who shared crosswords and sci-fi books when I was a young, sickly, ninety-five pound weakling. From there the gift grew and has become a way to release the words that must exit!"
