This group is open to Registered Authors+ on Writing.Com. It is for those who want to concentrate on writing. In other words, there won't be raffles, auctions, fun activities etc. This is a place of work. Not that you have to do any of that to be part of this group, because this is a place of information, as well. Ultimately, you'll get out of it what you want to, and others will get out of it what you put in. Sharing information is what this group is all about. If an opportunity is not for you, it still might be an opportunity for another group member. Pass it on!

Funnily enough, they do exist. I'm in the UK, so the majority of my listed ops will be from there, but if you're from Uzbekistan, USA, Ukraine, Uruguay, or anywhere else on the planet, and you know of a great job, workshop, or contest opportunity for writers then feel free to post a link in the Opportunities In & Out.

Muse Bustin' Exercises
A bit like 'word of the day', the exercise page lists a daily suggestion to get your muse going. Feel free to post a response and show off where your muse took you. Like the rest of this group, there will be no obligation to participate, and no reward, save your own satisfaction 
 Feel free to support each other in whatever way you wish to do so. Writers of all abilities are encouraged. A will to improve, learn, grow, and to have respect for your fellow writers, is all the group requires of you.
 Being a part of this groups means that you will receive a news bulletin from time to time, to highlight looming deadlines, breaking news, and other key events in the writing world's calendar.
