As writers, how did this wonderful fascination with words and stories begin within us?

My hunch is it started somewhere in our childhood with tales of dragons and the like.
Maybe inside “Little Golden Books” or deep inside a”wardrobe”.
It could have happened in the “once upon a time” or during “the dark and stormy night”.
Wherever it began for you think back to your childhood, the books you loved and the memories they made and add to “

the joy of knowledge books bring to me,
