  It might seem simplistic, but I believe that happy thoughts make happy people. We can not change our circumstances, only how we react to them. Positive thinking evokes more energy, more initiative and more happiness. Reality is the mirror of your thoughts. Choose well what you put in front of the mirror. Please share some happy thoughts here! What simple things bring you joy when you are down? Write them here! what positive self-talk do you use? Can you list here (often) what makes you the special person you are? This page is really just about feeling good. Self-affirmation: I am strong!My circumstances will not change who I am inside Some things that make me happy are a child's giggle, puppy breath and the feel of clay between my fingers! I am grateful for the many friends I have and the love that surrounds me. What makes my heart sing: grandchildren's laughter, smiling dogs and my children's success. I love to give of myself to others. Have a nice day! Laughter that comes straight from the gut and is infectious to all within hearing range! Nature makes me happy. Its silence, it constant motion, its fantastic detail... I am happiest when I get the opportunity to complete something, usually tasks at home, with someone I love. If we get to relax and talk while we are completing it, well then I'm on the moon Talking to the Lord, my Creator, makes me happy. He is always willing to listen to me. Hour-long conversations with him always seem to keep me calm, cool, and collected. Pizza. It's just that simple for me. I don't eat it every day, but when I do... watch out! Because I am going to be pretty darn happy that day! Prayer...it's the only thing that gets my head out of the muck and back where it belongs...in Him. Everything revolves around Him and who I am in Him. The feel of my sons hair as they hug me. Their little voices that just learned to say, "I love you, too." Listening to music, my favourite songs. They always make me feel better. Knowing that I have provided for my children's needs, even if only for that day, makes me feel that I have a purpose. To hear their laughter as we pray and wish each other love at the end of each day. seeing everyone post their happy thought makes me smile
Tonight reviewing spiritual, inspirational and religious items makes me happy. Jesus makes me happy. The clouds give me a smile behind the camera. The ocean calms and rescues me from the storm on land. Total Displayed: 17 |
