Whatever your reasoning, tell me what sort of help you would appreciate the most. I am best at things related to plotting, storytelling, dialogue; things you might not get from a grammar and spelling review. I do not line-by-line edit. I'm not an editor, I'm a reader with an opinion.

You will need to make sure your items are rated no higher than 18+; the title and brief description still need to be E rated, because of the rating of this forum.
At this time, I am accepting items for review which are 25kb or less. Keep in mind longer work equals longer reading which means it may take longer for me to get a review out, and I might read out of order to accommodate other shorter stories.
I read poetry, I read short stories, I read novels. Genre fiction is okay.
Feel free to repost something for an update to your original rating and review if you make significant changes to something of yours I have already read.

My opinion is completely unvarnished, but it is still my opinion, and I am entitled to it. By coming here and asking me for it, I operate under the assumption that you have come to me because you would like my unvarnished opinion.
As of this writing my ratings average is just a whisker under
stars.
That means a three from me really is average.
I don't know where anyone got the idea that average is "BAD." We're amateurs, most of us-- average ought to be pretty good! I try to be as helpful as I can; a five star review on something I didn't completely enjoy and think could be a lot better isn't helpful.
I don't give out that emoticon-filled huge-image-signature stuff that I see all the time on the public reviews list. It's just not my style. You can get that in other places, but you can only get my completely unvarnished opinion right here.

I never charge for a review-- my opinion doesn't have a price.


However-- because I'm free, my time is limited to what time I can put into it. That means sometimes it takes me a while to get to you.
I won't turn down a donation, but it's not necessary; I'll review anyone who might appreciate my opinion.
