Use it:
1. To sign up for a week of smile-sending. (Sunday-Saturday). Please choose the Sunday date when adding an event and write in the notes that you are signing up for a week to send smiles.
I think a month at a time is probably far enough ahead to choose weeks.

(Note: there is now "SAR/SAS Awards 2007 and on"  [ASR] so you should not use your own list for awardicons. I will update the list to include that at some point.)

2. To sign up for a month thanking donors.
Look here: "Send-A-Ribbon/Send-A-Smile"  [E] for all the donors.
During the month (or at the end of the month), you will send a thank you (cnote, or just email) to each donor.

3. To sign up to send out the newsletter and choose the donor of the month.
This should be done on the 1st of the month. For more information, ask. (I will do October's)


Other tasks available:
* Creating fundrasiers or other activities for "Send-A-Ribbon/Send-A-Smile"  [E] to be involved in. If the item will be associated with "Send-A-Ribbon/Send-A-Smile"  [E] directly (as in having the name in the title, being funded by the group, etc - not just as a recipient of donations), please consult with the Group Leaders before creating the item.

* Encouraging participation. I would love to send more than we have been. The group has the funds to send so many more smiles than we have the requests for! (And even if that goes down, there are many wonderful repeat donors and I always have a few fundraising ideas ready to be put together as required )

* You tell me! I'm sure there's more that we can do!

The split-the-pot game runs from Monday, September 26th to Sunday, October 30th.

Each donation of 100 Gift Points is one chance in the game. (So, a donation of 1,000 Gift Points is 10 chances, etc.)
Donations of less than 100 are accepted but no chances are awarded.

All chances will be numbered. At the end of the game, I will use the Writing.Com Virtual Dice to select the winning number. This person will receive half of the gift points raised. The other half will go to "Send-A-Ribbon/Send-A-Smile" .
In addition, an amount totaling at least ten percent of what was raised will be sent to goingpro as a donation in all ticket purchasers' names. This will be sent from Tigger thinks of Prancer 's gift points.

Enter by sending gift points to Group 916190.
To do this, go to the "Gift Point Tools" pull-down menu (on the top left-hand side of the screen.)
Click on "My Gift Points" and where you're prompted to type in a group number, type in 916190. (Do not type in a username.)
