Picture taken of me in the Summer of 2004 while doing a 12 mile hike.    Who is Michelle Moffett? I'm a native Californian and have lived here most of my life. I am French Canadian by ancestry I have a sweet tooth and LOVE cupcakes. I'm related to Wild Bill Hickok! I memorized Walt Disney's Cinderella when I was too young to read from my mother reading it to me. I broke out of my crib when I was a young baby by sliding the bottom out and back. My mom asked me how I escaped. I was too young to talk, but I told her years later. My father was a famous musician and was with The Lettermen and The Bill Black Combo and many other famous musicians. My grandmother was a famous artist, who was muti-talented with her hands and could weave, paint, draw and sew. My mother is my best friend and we are a lot alike. I always tell my mother she is the next Martha Stewart only cooler. I won first place on the Wireless Galaxy Photo Competition for the month of March 2007. There were almost 200 entrants. I met my soul-mate nine years ago online in a Temptation Island Forum. Little did I know he would be the biggest temptation of all. I believe in charitable organizations against the cruelty of animals and for helping homeless animals. I can't stand any cruelty to children, humans or animals. I LOVE cats! I was touched by an angel at age nine. I have all my relatives talents bottled up inside me (except painting). I choose to write though since I'm a hermit and I like to express myself through words. I'm a very sensitive person, humorous, silly, child-like, down to earth, detail oriented, creative, imaginative, a deep thinker and very analytical. My grandma Helen was a great writer as well as fashion savvy, a great photographer and interior decorator. I am an avid fan of the old show "I Love Lucy." I love old classic Sci-fi's and even the cheesy ones I get a kick out of. My favorite subjects in school were science, biology, economics, child development. My least favorite subjects were math, history, geography, English (go figure) and government. I can do imitations of many singers and I've done some look-a-likes. I get this talent from my father. Some of my best imitations are of Olivia Newton John, Madonna, Heart. I have RLS and this keeps me up most nights. I didn't start writing until I was in my late twenties. I've had eleven items published in various magazines/websites/newspapers (I was paid for 6 out of the 11) and I am submitting children's stories to publishers in hopes to be a book author someday. My favorite movies are comedies and biographical movies. I like all types of music. The least I like is country though. I'm very thrifty and economical. I even shop at thrift stores, bargain marts and swapmeets. I gave my life to Jesus Christ June 19th of 2006 I'm a proud owner of a 19 year old calico cat named Jaz. My favorite band of the 1960's is The Doors (I used to be obsessed with them, now I'm not). I've read twenty books on The Doors, too. I'm also well read with all of Jack Kerouac's books. I've read even more Bible books. About 70 of those, plus the Bible several times over. Have watched Bible story movies all my life. Have also read countless inspirational/religious stories/articles. When I was younger I loved to skate, swim, dance and do gymnastics, act in plays, sing and collect Barbie dolls. I love Italian food as well as barbecue and Chinese. Cheese is one of my ultimate weaknesses. My favorite fruit---berries and also I love pomegranites. My favorite pie--pumpkin! Also I love sweet potato pie and strawberry/rhubarb pie. A new favorite of mine is pecan pie! I learned how to type by practicing on a picture of a typewriter and learning the correct fingering and keys. My biggest fears are worms (maggots, ewww) and bleeding profusely. Plus I hate cockroaches. Doctors give me anxiety as well as flying on airplanes. If I had to pick between chicken, beef or fish, I'd pick fish. Although, I'm a real stickler for a good meatloaf, hard to top that one. I think all animals are cute except baboons. I am A- negative blood type. I have an excellent memory. Photography is my second love to writing. I self published a book of funny poems, and photography calendars on Lulu that I worked hard on for eight months. link--http://www.lulu.com/hawleyb3 I was promoted after 8 months to preferred author in this forum on Feb, 2006. I made Headliner for the month of August 2007 for Center Stage here at WDC. Thank you to Sherri Gibson for nominating me! I have vivid dreams (mostly nightmares) and I dream in color with always a song in the background that coordinates with the dream lol. My favorite things to write are haikus, children's stories, inspirational material, articles, poems (both humorous and serious poems). I also like to write funny song parodies, captions, puns and metaphors. I would love to go to Venice Italy someday and this would be my dream vacation. My mother saved my life once and prevented me from choking on a candy. I turned blue and almost died (thank goodness she is in the medical field) With writing I am left handed, but I do everything else with my right. I am right and left brained (which means I can't make up my mind usually lol). I am very intuitive and I've predicted deaths and illnesses and certain events that have happened in my life. I LOVE the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and I have to watch it every year. My astrological sign is--Capricorn (though I don't dabble in astrology anymore) My favorite fast food restaurant is Taco Bell. I have an online computer pet (Neopet) named Misha and I've had her for 10 years  I've had asthma since birth. I'm a dreamer, not a realist. When I was younger I was everything from a rocker to a preppy girl, to a punk rocker (mod) to a surfer girl, etc (finding my true identity I guess lol). I got high blood pressure when I was in my 20's. My past occupations are--babysitting, cleaning houses, cashier jobs- (fashion retail, fast food, party supply store), restaurant manager, phone sales, receptionist. I have great detective skills. I'm the queen of Google and I'm constantly looking things up every day. I got my first snowfall ever in Feb 2006. It was very thrilling and surreal!! My cat Jaz liked it, too. My heart beats on average 90-120 beats a minute! Except for when sleeping of course. The doctors thought I was a boy baby because my heart was so strong and fast (this was before the age of ultrasounds when they could determine gender). I saved up 3,600 by working at El Pollo Loco for my first car when I was in my late teens. I went to computer school for three years and got 5 certificates before owning one. I know a lot about the medical field with diseases and medicines. I've studied all my life. I could almost be a doctor now with all the education I've gained. I type 90 WPM. I am a big worry-wart! I was chased by a scary old man with a huge bladed knife when I was 13 years old while playing hookie one day from school and skating outside my apartments. The witch in the Wizard of Oz scared me to death when I was little and she still does lol. My favorite color is green My favorite number is 7 My soulmate proposed to me on August 5th, 2006 inside room 2310 in the hospital after recovering from a massive heart attack and several surgeries. In my lifetime I've wanted to be anything from a ballerina (when I was little) to a fashion model, an actress, a doctor, a veterinarian, a banker, an image consultant, a scientist, a biologist, a singer (too shy though), a detective, an inspector (any kind), anything in the medical field---Ah and then a writer, which I am!
