After this recent trip to Pennekamp Park, I am convinced squirrels have no fear of humans. I strolled right up to this squirrel as he ate, and he didn't even look up at me! He concentrated on his yummy food, giving me some opportunities to take pictures of him. This isn't the first time I've had close encounters with the squirrel kind. In May 2005, I had squirrels running up to me in Lake Wales, and during fall 2004, one leaped up on my physics textbook while I looked at my homework. |
