This painting is an interpretation of spirituality, peace and solace, a look at the simplicity of life and nature. It focuses on a calm little plot of land with three plants, some dirt and rocks, and a misty background. I use color to both bring a realist and abstract feel to it, expressing both what is visually there and hopefully what the viewer can also take from it and make it his/her own.
