Social Communities in the Hive
Rated: E | Image | Clip Art | Environment | #1234357
Darwin's only exception to survival of the fittest ~ the social community of hive bees
All the bees in the hive, amounting to 30,000--60,000 work specialized duties that change as the bee gets older.  There's always only ONE queen, and she rules the hive, being responsible for all future generations to be laid.  Bees work for the survival of their community, with individuals relegated to very specific tasks.
