Mites destroy bees by cutting into the body of the bee, microorganisms enter, infecting
Varroa mites have infested more hives since they have been traveling and meeting in a central location, passing pollen and hive problems.

These microscopic parasites are a large problem as honeybee populations in the US continue to decline.
