Where I live ..I have a wonderful view of this mountain. I hiked to the top with my fiance. This was my very first mountain hike. Now my perception of this mountain has totally changed. What amazing views! What lovely meadows of wildflowers everywhere. We were able to see grouse, a marmot,chipmunks, different species of birds , and a immature eagle circling overhead of us. What a rewarding day hike. Even as we left the parking area we saw two Mule Deer on the way down.
