Well, this is my garden. Looking a little scruffy as well! Apologies!

The main base in my garden is sand. Our house, and garden is on top of an old sand hill, so sand is everywhere! (When you open our trap doors in the house, you are looking directly at a an enormous sandpit under there!)

We have deep rooted grass (because of the sand), so when you walk on it, it has an unually springy feel to it.

I have a number of fruit trees in my garden. I have a lemon, as you can see in the photo, two grapefruit trees, an enormous pear tree,. two kiwi fruit trees (chinese gooseberry), four apple trees, a peach tree, and a couple of plum trees.

I also have a grapevine which is climbing on my verandah.
