I was keeping a poodle, Albert Einstien, for a friend. I had a rescued Chihuahua named Andy. I did not need another mouth to feed. However, the three children I have living in my home at present thought differently.

"Nana, they are going to have her put to sleep if we don't take her."

Yes, Yes, I am a glutton for punishment. Well, we took Bella. She was only as big as your thumb and I really had my doubts about being able to save her. I shouldn't have worried. She is a minature Chihuahua and full grown now still full of antics.

She loves to snuggle in my fluffy old housecoat pocket when I watch T. V. She is a great pal to the kids and their mom kinda likes her too.

She is only one of so many rescued ones I have had and will be looking for pictures of and stories to tell...
